Out at the far southwest tip of Provo, the island ends in limestone cliffs and sea caves, with nothing but open water beyond. Getting there is half the fun.
The drive
The last stretch is an unpaved track, bumpy and slow in places. This is exactly what the Wrangler is for. Take it easy and enjoy it.
When to go
Early, before the heat, or late for the light. There is no shade out here.
What to bring
Water, sun cover, and proper shoes. The rock is sharp and uneven.
Good to know
There are no facilities. Leave nothing on show in the Jeep, and tell someone where you are headed.
